Arcade is an artist-driven gallery expanding the relationships, tools and resources of contemporary art into wider forms of civic and cultural exchange.
Building on nearly two decades of work with artists, curators, collectors and cultural professionals, Arcade now brings exhibitions, food, hospitality and local partnerships into closer relation.
Through exhibitions, live events, hospitality and locally embedded projects, we have learned that engagement often begins sideways — through reflection, imagination and shared experience.
Founded in London in 2007, Arcade has operated as a Community Interest Company since 2021, expanding its programme through exhibitions, hospitality, local partnerships and socially engaged projects while continuing to support artists, sales and critical practice.
Our exhibitions present artists whose practices engage with research, experimentation and critical dialogue, many of whom are represented internationally in museums and institutions. Our programme creates space for their ambitious work to be encountered in an open and conversational setting.
Our kitchen is the social glue of the project. Food brings people together; art helps us imagine what we might build next.
The model continues to grow through use; come and experience it for yourself.
