Marching Mizzou
School of Music, University of Missouri
Columbia, Missouri

In 2008, I began a donation campaign to support university marching bands across the country. So far, I have sent artwork to the band programs at LSU, Alabama, Auburn, Miami, Tulane, Penn State, Maryland, Kentucky, Arkansas, Iowa State, Illinois, Tennessee, and Nebraska. I plan to continue this donation tour, with the goal of having my artwork displayed in 1,000 band rooms. I do this because I want to personally connect with and show my appreciation for these band programs, which are a passion of mine. The band directors often send me thank-you notes and photos of the drum majors holding up the artwork, which I cherish. While not many artists contribute to these subject areas, I take pride in supporting the bands I enjoy being a part of, even after I’m gone.
